Performance

One of DC’s largest spectator events, the energy-filled National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade® presented by Events DC runs for 10 blocks along iconic Constitution Avenue. Giant colorful helium balloons, elaborate floats, marching bands from across the country, celebrity entertainers, and performers burst down the Parade route in a grand spectacle of music and showmanship seen only once a year during the Festival.

The Parade is nationally syndicated and available for viewing through June 30.

Chin Daiko of Maryland and Wisconsin Eisa perform a traditional style of Okinawan drumming and dance. The goals of this multi-cultural group are to help spread friendship and peace throughout the world. They participated in each National Cherry Blossom Festival Parade in the years 2005 through 2019, and again in 2022-2025. Every year they also perform in the Sakura Matsuri Street Festival.
